Question is, is that should it be against the rules to use that or not? I would think not, unless the race name is offensive in some manner, but a clarification would be great for all of us players out here who might or might not want to change our respective races, since it is (in a fashion) a form of bug abuse :P

But why hasnt it been broughten up? Makes not Really alot of Sence, Why do it? Why not stick to races that are already there. It is bug abuse heh.

It has been brought up ages ago when it was first discovered. And if its bug abuse, all your cute little "tags" are also abuse, so we should jail everyone them too?

changing your race in chat doesnt do jack shit as far as altering gameplay...so why ban it? (obviously jail those who use inappropiate names)

Not saying that rick, maybe i wasnt around when this was brought up, or maybe it was in HC forums where i couldnt see them.
I've never really paid attention to it, because it hasnt occured very often, Only 2 people have done it.
But when its put that way in the chat.. Look how it seems?

My vote is always to jail those who really abuse it, eg inappropriate tags/races, and let the others go. If hes just doing it in chat rather than when making a character, whats the harm?
Also, is there really any benefit to giving yourself a new race when creating a character? If it is inherently benefiting him more, warn him that character is not allowed and permanently incapacitate it.

Any nonlisted race defaults back to human stats, so its actually more of a nerf than anything. And yes, it was brought up in HC discussions when Dex first did it, and we all agreed to leave it be unless it was abused.

Yep, just wanted to make sure there would be no repercussions if I, or anyone else, decided to take advantage of this option and create a unique race, as long as it does not violate the language rules.

Sex can be changed, too. This can create a major problem.

That is a char I made to test, possible changing of sex to gain nobility titles, HC titles, etc. Look into? Idk.
I would like to suggest a possible rule addition, preventing people from changing sex on a newly created char (only way this can be changed) to gain a nobility or HC title. Just to keep it from becoming an issue in the future, since there are many people known to abuse things just because they can in this game :/

Nope. It is quite easy to do. All you need is a certain add-on and a quick tutorial on how to use it if you are not familiar with how the add on works.
